The Bishop of our Diocese, Most Reverend John O. Barres, visited our Parish and celebrated the 5:00 P.M. Mass on Saturday, July 27, 2019. The Bishop was accompanied by the new Vocations Director of our Diocese, Reverend Sean Magaldi. The Bishop preached about the great ministerial success throughout our Diocese, including our ministry to the young people. He also emphasized the importance of faith in Jesus and believing in him who always leads us to success, even when circumstances seem pessimistic. He used the example of the New York Mets who won the World Series in 1969. Bishop Barres greeted and spoke with parishioners before and after the Mass in the vestibules. Fr. Jude Dioka and I concelebrated at the Mass. Fr. Sean Magaldi served as Master of Ceremonies and also gave a talk at the end about his vocation story. He encouraged the young people to consider joining the priesthood and religious life, just as he himself found true happiness, peace and fulfillment in priesthood despite his original interest in film. - Fr. World Apostolate of Fatima USA OUR LADY’S BLUE ARMY Announces the arrival in the Diocese of Rockville Centre The International Pilgrim Virgin Statue July 12- 27, 2019 (see the bulletin for the complete schedule) This historic statue began its travels from Fatima, Portugal on October 13,1947 and has been around the world many times. Sculpted by Jose Thedim, based on the description of Sister Lucia, it was blessed by the Bishop of Fatima and commissioned to serve the Pilgrim Virgin, who would carry the blessings of Fatima throughout the world. The Bishop prayed that Mary Herself accompany the statue wherever it goes. It has visited more than 100 countries bringing graces of Fatima and a message of salvation and hope to millions of people. Now, with your help, she’ll convert hearts and bring hope across our country.

Make me more deeply aware of my heritage; realizing not only my rights but also my duties and responsibilities as a citizen. Make this great land and all its people know clearly Your will, that they may fulfill the destiny ordained for us in the salvation of the nations,and the restoring of all things in Christ.

If you attend Mass regularly at St. Mary’s and are not a registered parishioner, please come to the Parish Office and fill out a short registration form. This will be helpful if you should need recommendation letters, certificates, and especially sponsor certificates for Baptism or Confirmation. Registration is mandatory for these requests.

This morning, we welcomed the Sisters of Life to St. Mary's and our students assembled for special presentations followed by Adoration in the afternoon. Join us tonight at 6:30 PM for our Parish Lenten Mission and experience the joy of God's love for you!

Our annual Service of Lessons and Carols filled the Church on Sunday, December 9 with joyful prayer and song in anticipation of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. We are truly gifted by the members of our Youth and Adult Choirs along with the Saint Mary's High School, Manhasset Chamber Choir who give so much of their time and talent throughout the year to enhance our ministry.
